October not only means colder temperatures on campus at San Diego City College but also the start of the transfer application period for students.  All California State University and University of California campuses are accepting transfer applications from Oct 1. through Nov 30.

An SDG&E power outage darkened City College and a large portion of downtown San Diego, Balboa Park and Golden Hill at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Friday. A cause has not yet been determined.
