Overnight a wild fire erupted in Rancho San Diego. As of 8:55 a.m. the Willow Fire is 30 acres and 50% contained, only one home was destroyed and six homes were damaged. 

SDSU students living on campus are now required to be tested for COVID-19, according to a campus-wide email sent by the university. The latest on the mandate was featured on today’s edition of Newscene, the award-winning student-produced weekly newscast.
