The City College dance program will present “An Evening of Dance 2021” for two shows at the Saville Theatre on Nov. 20.

The performances will include student choreographers, alumni and a faculty concert, according to the promotional flyer.

Dance student Tina Carreras said this will be the group’s first performance at the Saville since Fall 2019.

Carreras said they have been rehearsing about nine different pieces for the show, and with the extra testing procedures, performers will have the ability to remove their masks just before getting on stage.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the theater will only allow approximately 50% capacity, Carreras said, but that would still allow more than one hundred audience members.

“We’d love the support from the community,” Carreras said.

An Evening of Dance will be presented at 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Nov. 20 at the Saville Theatre. Tickets are $10, cash only at the door.

Patrons will be required to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the performance, according to the event listing.
