There will not be any classes at San Diego City College and across the San Diego Community College District from Nov. 24 – 28, but the campus won’t be completely closed the entire week.

What’s open:
Financial Aid Office, Nov. 24 – Nov. 25
The City College’s Financial Aid Office will be open Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Transfer Center, Nov. 24 – Nov. 25 (Remote services available Nov. 26)
City College’s Transfer Center will be open Monday and Tuesday from 8:15 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On Wednesday, remote assistance for students is available.
A reminder that UC and CSU transfer applications are due Dec. 1.
Women’s Basketball hosts Knights Invitational, Nov. 20 – Nov. 22
The City College women’s basketball team will host Palm Desert at Harry West Gym starting Thursday, Nov. 20.
The Knights will then host Reedly at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, before playing Palo Verde at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22.
City College Library and Resource Center Closed Nov. 24 – Dec. 1
City College’s Library and Resource Center will be closed until Monday, Dec. 1, for the fall break.
Once campus reopens, staff invite students to de-stress at the library for Love on a Leash dog therapy on Tuesday, Dec. 2, from noon to 2 p.m.
De-Stress on Wednesday, Dec. 3 and Thursday, Dec. 4 with Study Jams in the Library Lounge and enjoy free snacks, tea and coffee.

A conversation with Vice President Kamala Harris
The former Vice President continues her book tour with a newly announced date next year.
Harris will speak live in San Diego regarding her 107 days as the first Black and Asian American woman nominated as a major party’s presidential candidate.
Ticket prices range from $89 to $182 for a conversation with Vice President Kamala at the San Diego Civic Center on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.
