The San Diego City College men’s tennis team (10-5, 6-0) played their last game of the season, losing 5-1 against Ventura College (14-9, 4-2) on Tuesday, April 7.
The game was part of the quarterfinal bracket for the California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Regional.
The Knights fought hard to compete in the playoffs, winning the Inland Empire Athletic Conference undefeated for the second straight year led by IEAC Coach of the Year Brandon Lupian.
“It’s what you do on or off the court,” Lupian said. “As long as they’re giving me and themselves their best, I can’t ask for much more.”

Baseball
The City College baseball team (11-23, 4-16) will play against Southwestern College on Tuesday, April 21, at 2 p.m. at the Morley Field Sports Complex.
The Knights are looking to come back up from their previous matchup against Southwestern’s Jaguars, losing in a 9-4 final score.
Softball
The City softball team (10-24, 2-11) will play against Palomar College on Tuesday, April 21, at 3 p.m. at the Betty Hock Field.
The Knights are also looking to redeem themselves from their loss against the Palomar Comets on their home turf.

The men’s tennis team wrap up their undefeated conference season just before spring break.
They went on to compete against Ventura College in the 3C2A Southern California Regional quarter finals, losing with a final score of five to one.
The men’s baseball team will play against Southwestern College on Tuesday, April 21 at 2 p.m. at the Morley Field Sports Complex.
Knight’s softball team will be facing off against Palomar College on Tuesday, April 21 at 3 p.m. at the Betty Hock Field.
Both the softball and baseball teams are looking to make up for their losses against their previous opponents.
