Scott Gardinier, Copy Editor | Blog Team Section Editor
Scott Gardinier is a digital journalism major who is in his second semester as copy editor and newsletter editor. His interest in journalism is ethics and how to get people to care about ethical practices.
Gardinier recently transferred to Penn State World Campus. He continues to take classes at City College and doing what he enjoys most at City Times, which is helping out as a copy editor.
Fun fact: Gardinier won third place at the JACC SoCal Convention for on-the-spot copy editing. His favorite thing about journalism is the potential it has to help those without a public voice.
When Gardinier is not involved with journalism, he likes to bike around the city and walk his golden retriever, Watson, around Balboa Park.
