In this week's #CityCookingChallenge, host Susana Serrano makes Sopa de Coditos, a classic Mexican soup made of macaroni pasta swimming in a savory tomato sauce.

San Diego City College partnered up with the San Diego Food Bank for Hunger Action Day. Social distancing guidelines, including mask use requirements and a safe walk-up option, were in place for all volunteers and attendees of the event.  Along with the donated food, City also provided bags of toiletries containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, washcloth, deodorant, soap and condoms.

Utilizing the onions, canned beans, bread and rice from Hunger Action Day, host Susana Serrano made veggie sliders to kick off the first #citycookingchallenge of the semester.
