Members of the San Diego Community College District Board of Trustees reaffirmed their commitment to supporting baccalaureate programs at community colleges after recent opposition from the California State University system at a recent meeting held in Mission Valley.

The San Diego City College Council came together Nov. 8 to discuss a range of issues and projects that can improve the experience students have on campus, ranging from support for students with disabilities to the celebration of Native American History Month.

The SDCCD Board of Trustees redistricting subcommittee asked the public for input on new boundaries and a change to election procedures, providing a first glimpse of its new proposed district map.
