From day one of spring semester, City College statistics professor Carolyn Thomas brought information to class regarding the now widely known coronavirus, COVID-19. Having followed the case since early January, Thomas said, “I didn't think the semester was gonna start.”

REVIEW: ‘Effortless’ production a success at City College festival

The Festival of New Plays introduced seven one-act plays written and performed by City College students. The challenge was to condense a solid one-act play into 10 minutes, a mission that sounds difficult but as an audience member was done well and appeared effortless.

Authors, City College students perform as part of Black History Month

An alumna and current students read and performed their pieces during the Day of the Arts event, part of the celebration of Black History Month at City College. The event was hosted by Umoja, a community that supports African American and other historically underrepresented students.
