Looking for something to do this week? Here are some of the exciting events coming up at San Diego City College from Dec. 4-11.

Check back every week for updates on upcoming events, activities and opportunities happening on campus.

Library De-Stress, Thursday, Dec. 4-5

Library staff invites students for coffee, tea and snacks with Study Jams on Thursday, Dec. 4 in the Library Lounge, from noon to 3 p.m.

City College’s library will also offer puzzles, games, coloring and collaging on Friday, Dec. 5 as part of its De-Stress week.

City College Zine Fest, Monday, Dec. 8-9

The second annual Zine Fest at City College will be held on Monday, Dec. 8 in the library, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The fest will showcase students and their original zines on display for all to see, as well as a hands-on mini zine station and button making for participants to try out until Dec. 9.

Winter Wonderland, Wednesday, Dec. 10

City College will host a Winter Wonderland event on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at the Gorton Quad, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Students have the opportunity to engage in a scavenger hunt, a gingerbread house making competition, ornament decoration and have hot chocolate as a community.

Registration is encouraged to participate in these activities.

Unwind and Unplug, Wednesday, Dec. 10-11

City College’s Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander Connections Center invites students to de-stress with activities on Wednesday, Dec. 10 in room BT-105, from noon to 2 p.m.

Students will be able to partake in lantern making, arts and crafts and board games until Dec. 11.

Women’s Basketball play final game of Knights Crossover, Friday, Dec. 5

The Knights (4-4) will go up against San Bernardino Valley at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 5 at Harry West Gym.
