My name is Itzel Martinez and this is your City Knights Sports Update, brought to you by City Times Media.

The men’s basketball team has reached the elite eight for the second time in the past three years.

The knights face the number-1 seed from the north, City College of San Francisco.

The game will be played at College of Sequoias in Visalia today at 5 p.m.

Look for a live stream at sdcitytimes.com.

And City College pitcher Aiden Kuei did something City hasn’t seen in 20 years.

Kuei threw a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts in City’s 10–nothing win over California Miramar University last month.

And coming up this week, the City’s women’s tennis team remains undefeated.

They will host their final home game on Tuesday, March 17 at 2 p.m. against Mount San Jacinto.

Be sure to check out City Times Media for more sports news from City College.

With the City Knights Sports Update, I’m Itzel Martinez.
