City College food pantry ready to feed students

The new food pantry, Knight’s Table, is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Students at San Diego City College will be able to grab something to eat or drink at a new food assistance resource this semester. The new food pantry, Knight’s Table, is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is located on the first floor of the T building.

San Diego City College partnered up with the San Diego Food Bank for Hunger Action Day. Social distancing guidelines, including mask use requirements and a safe walk-up option, were in place for all volunteers and attendees of the event. Along with the donated food, City also provided bags of toiletries containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, washcloth, deodorant, soap and condoms.
